Income Factory
A covered-call education and screening platform for investors on the path to financial independence.
Why it exists
I ran a covered-call strategy on my own portfolio for years, with my own spreadsheets and my own rules. The tools I wanted didn't exist, so I built them for myself — and eventually realized the thing I'd built was the thing other income-focused investors kept asking me about. Income Factory is that personal tool, rebuilt as a real product.
What it does
- The Friday analysis — the heart of the product. Every week, a plain-English call on each position you hold: sell this call at this strike for roughly this premium, hold because your position is still open, or sit out because the premium isn't worth it — plus check-ins on every open position.
- Explains the strategy in plain language. Covered calls without the jargon wall — what the trade is, what you give up, what you collect.
- Screens opportunities. Surfaces candidates that fit an income-first approach, with the numbers laid out so you can evaluate them yourself.
- Models income scenarios. See how a position could behave across outcomes before committing anything.
- Built for FIRE investors. The framing throughout is income and independence, not day-trading adrenaline.
Income Factory is an educational and research tool. It doesn't give financial advice, and nothing on this page is a recommendation.

The honest catch
Turning a personal tool into a public product meant confronting every shortcut I'd allowed myself. The strategy logic was the easy part; the hard part was everything around it — being careful about what the product claims, and drawing a bright line between education and advice.
